Samsung has started rolling out a new update to Galaxy M31 and Galaxy M21 smartphones that brings new camera features. The update also adds the latest OneUI 2.1 to both the phones. With this, the company has rolled out new camera features like Single Take, My Filter, and more to the Galaxy M31 and Galaxy M21. The Galaxy M31 comes with 64MP quad-camera setup at the rear, a 6000mAh battery, and a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen. The Galaxy M21 is loaded with Android 10, AMOLED screen, and long-lasting battery life. So, let’s take a closer look at the latest update rolled out for both the devices.
Samsung Galaxy M31, Galaxy M21 OneUI 2.1 update
The company has started seeding the OneUI 2.1 update to the Galaxy M31 and Galaxy M21. The update comes with version number M315FXXU2ATIB for the Galaxy M31 and M215FXXU2ATI9 for the Galaxy M21. The update is currently rolling out in India, reports TizenHelp. It weighs around 1.8GB in size and brings September 2020 security patch to both phones. The official changelog reveals that the update brings new camera features like My Filters, Single Take, and Night hyperlapse.
The Single Take feature is probably one of the most interesting features added to both phones as it allows users to capture up to 10 photos and videos in one take. The feature takes the best moment, smart crop, original video, hyperlapse video, boomerang and more. Moving to My Filters, it allows you to create custom filters with colours and style for future shots. Lastly, the Night Hypelapse video allows you to shoot low-light hyperlapse video.
The update also brings Music Share and Quick Share options, though it is not yet available. The update improves the stability of the phones and brings new bug fixes. It also brings Pro Mode to the Galaxy M31 and brings charging time left to fully charge the battery.
