Google, at its LaunchNightIn event, finally revealed the latest Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G smartphones. The company has also launched Google Nest Audio smart speaker and new Chromecast that comes with Google TV. The Google Nest Audio is the successor of Google Home and features like Media EQ, quad-core processor, high-performance ML hardware engine, and more. The Google Chromecast comes with remote control and it is all set to give a stiff competition to Amazon Fire TV Stick features. Google Nest Audio, Google Chromecast price and availability

Google Nest Audio price is $99.99, which roughly translates to INR 7,358. The smart speaker is available in Sage, Sand, Sky, Chalk, Charcoal colour options. The speaker will be available for purchase in India, the US, Canada, and other countries starting from October 5th. There is no word about Google Nest Audio India pricing, but Google says that the speaker will be available for purchase from Flipkart and key retail stores in October.

The new Chromecast with Google TV price is $49.99 (approx. INR 3,675). The device is available in Snow, Sunrise, and Sky colour options. The product will go on sale in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom, starting from October 15th. Google has not revealed Chromecast with Google TV India pricing and availability.

Google Nest Audio Smart Speaker features

Google Nest Audio speaker offers 75 per cent louder and 50 per cent stronger bass performance as compared to the original Google Home speaker. The device comes with a 19mm tweeter that delivers consistent high-frequency sound along with clear vocals. There is a 75mm mid-woofer that brings the bass for a rich musical experience. The smart speaker equips Google Assistant and one can control compatible smart home brands like Philips Hue, TP-Link, and more.

The company says that it has completed more than 500 hours of tunning to ensure balanced lows, mids and highs for an enhanced audio experience. Google has also optimized the grill, fabric and materials so that you can enjoy the audio without distortion. Google Nest Audio comes with Media EQ feature that automatically tunes the speaker for different purposes like music, podcasts, audiobooks, Google Assistant, and more.

There is Ambient IQ that let Nest Audio adjust the volume of Assistant, news, podcasts and audiobooks based on the background noise in the home. Google says that one can connect Google Home, Nest Mini or even a Nest Hub with the new device. The smart speakers come with a stream transfer feature through which one can move music from one device to the other with a simple voice command. Google says that Nest Audio will be available in Chalk and Charcoal colour options in India.

Google Chromecast with Google TV

Google has also introduced its latest Chromecast with Googe TV support. The new Chromecast comes with a compact design language and neatly plugs into the HDMI port of your TV. The major highlight of the device is the new voice remote control that the brand says is comfortable to hold and easy to use. It comes with a dedicated Google Assistant button along with buttons for popular streaming apps like YouTube and Netflix. Interestingly, the remote control can be used to control the Smart TV for power, volume and input.

The new Chromecast with Google TV supports up to 4K HDR content at 60fps and comes with Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HDR10+. The device comes with HDMI pass-through for Dolby audio content. It features Google Assistant and one can access more than 6,500 apps with the newest member of Google.
