Nokia 3.4 Launch Could be Closer as Specifications, Renders and Pricing Details Leak Out

Nokia 3.4 is expected to be unveiled in the coming days as the latest mid-range smartphone from HMD Global. While the launch of the smartphone is expected soon, a new report has claimed to reveal most of the purported specifications of the device. As per details revealed by the report, the Nokia 3.4 should fall in the price bracket of under Rs 10,000 in India, and will largely be catered to the budget segment of smartphone buyers in the country.

Nokia 3.4 rumoured specifications

According to the report, the Nokia 3.4 is codenamed ‘Doctor Strange’, continuing with Nokia’s streak of giving their work in progress smartphones superhero codenames. In terms of the hardware inside, the Nokia 3.4 is apparently going to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 entry level SoC. This is said to be paired with 3GB RAM and a choice of 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. The device may also get a memory card slot to expand storage space by up to 512GB.

The display on the Nokia 3.4 will reportedly use a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD panel, with screen resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels, and 20:9 aspect ratio. To the rear, the Nokia 3.4 is expected to feature a triple camera setup with 13MP + 5MP + 2MP units. However, the report does not reveal the exact purpose that the additional units will serve. To the front, the display is said to feature a punch hole slot, which will house the rumoured 8MP selfie camera.

The Nokia 3.4 is also said to come with a 4,000mAh battery, although no mention is made of any fast charging standard. The device is expected to launch in three colour variants – purple, grey and blue. Given that its expected pricing in Europe is said to be around EUR 130, or Rs 12,500. Once it is announced, we may expect the phone to launch at under Rs 10,000 in the country.
