OnePlus is all set to launch its upcoming OnePlus 8T flagship smartphone any time soon. It seems that the company has already started teasing the smartphone and we are the first one to report. OnePlus has released a new advertisement where the company has featured Rober Downey Jr. to promote the upcoming OnePlus 8T 5G. Popular tipster Ishan Agarwal has posted a tweet claiming that the company is going to live the commercial during today’s IPL 2020 first match CSK Vs MI.
The company has also listed the OnePlus 8T 5G on Amazon India website pointing towards an imminent launch. The Amazon microsite also comes with an array of questioner seeking answers to some interesting questions. Yesterday we had reported that the OnePlus 8T is expected to launch on October 14th citing tipster Ishan Agarwal.

The tipster also added that the launch timeline might change slightly due to ongoing pandemic. Considering the previous launches, OnePlus usually launches its ‘T’ series in September. According to the previous leaks, the upcoming OnePlus 8T will be the second phone from the brand to feature a 12Hz refresh rate display.
OnePlus 8T Expected Specifications
According to the recently leaked renders, the OnePlus 8T is tipped to arrive with L-shaped quad-camera setup. The front panel of the smartphone is said to launch with a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It will also feature a punch-hole cutout design, placed at the top left corner of the screen.
Rumours also suggest that the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, clubbed with 8GB/12GB RAM options with 128GB/256GB storage respectively. As for cameras, the OnePlus 8T is tipped to feature a quad-camera setup with the combination of 48MP primary lens, 16MP wide-angle lens, 5MP macro shooter and 2MP portrait lens, along with an LED flash.
Upfront, the smartphone will accommodate a 32-megapixel selfie camera, which sits underneath the punch-hole cutout. The OnePlus 8T is expected to be fuelled by a 4,500mAh battery and feature a 65W Wrap Charge fast charging.
