POCO Global finally unveiled the POCO X3 NFC yesterday at an event in Europe. As per the company, the POCO X3 will compete against the OnePlus Nord, OnePlus’ second attempt in mid-range. Right after the European launch, POCO India General Manager, C Manmohan took it to Twitter to ask POCO fans if they’re interested in the device and want the company to launch it in India. Manmohan also dropped a hint on the POCO X3 pricing in India. As per the details shared by Manmohan in the tweet, the smartphone would cost Rs 20,000 + taxes in India going by the currency conversion.

POCO X3 Specifications
The POCO X3 features a 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 395ppi. The display on POCO X3 comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate which is covered under Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is a HDR10 certified panel that can achieve a peak brightness of 450 nits. Under-the-hood, the POCO X3 packs an all-new octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G built on an 8nm process, that is coupled with an Adreno 618 GPU, 6GB LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 128GB UFS 2.1 storage.
Coming to the optics, POCO X3 packs a 64MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor with f/1.89 aperture which is accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP Macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The POCO X3 is capable of recording 4k 30fps videos and comes with AI SkyScaping 3.0, 6 long exposure modes, AI photo clones, Pro mode, Night mode, AI portrait mode, Movie frame, and more. The device packs a 20MP AI selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.
POCO X3 packs a huge 5160mAh battery with 33W fast charging support over Type-C charging port. The device features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that is embedded in the power button and supports face unlock as well. POCO has decided to retain the 3.5mm headphone jack on the POCO X3, it is the first POCO device feature a stereo setup. POCO X3 has a metal chassis, made up of super aluminum alloy but it has a polycarbonate back. The POCO X3 is available in Shadow Gray and the Cobalt Blue color variant.
We can expect the device to launch in the coming month, before the festive season in India around a price of Rs 20,000. In other news, POCO is all set to launch the POCO M2 in India later today.
