Realme announced the all-new Realme 7 Pro at an event in India last week. Realme 7 Pro starts at Rs. 19,999 in India and is a poses a good challenge to the other devices in segments, such as Redmi Note 9 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy M31s. Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is available in 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant which is priced at Rs 16,999, the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant costs Rs 18,499, while the top-end 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant costs Rs. 19,999. The Samsung Galaxy M31s is priced at Rs. 19,499 for 6GB RAM and 128GB, while 8GB RAM and 128GB costs Rs. 21,499.

All three devices feature a modern bezel-less edge to edge display with a punch-hole notch. Realme 7 Pro has a polycarbonate back, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max comes with a curved glass back while the Samsung Galaxy M31s has a glasstic back. Redmi Note 9 Pro Max looks good due to the glass back but the paint jobs on the Realme 7 Pro and Galaxy M31s make Redmi Note 9 Pro Max look dull in competition.

The graphics duties on the Realme 7 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max are handled by Adreno 618 GPU which is clocked at 750MHz while Galaxy M31s has a Mali-G72 GPU. All three devices feature LPDDR4X RAM coupled with UFS 2.1 storage along with a dedicated Micro-SD card slot.

Coming to the front shooter, Realme 7 Pro packs a 32MP sensor with an 85° field of view and f/2.5 aperture, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max also packs a 32MP sensor while the Samsung Galaxy M31s has a 32MP Sony IMX616 sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

The Realme 7 Pro packs a 4500mAh battery with 65W SuperDart charging support, while the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max comes with a 5020mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. On the other hand, the Galaxy M31s has a mammoth 6000mAh battery but comes with 25W fast charging. All three devices have a Type-C port for charging. In the battery department, Galaxy M31s emerges as a winner but the 65W SuperDart tech on the Realme 7 Pro is insanely fast and unmatchable in the segment.
