Having established their dominance in the smartphone segment, smartphone brands from China seem to be concentrating on other product categories these days. BBK-owned brand OPPO has already released its smartwatch while Realme is on the verge of launching one in Europe. Another BBK-owned brand that is in the advanced stage of releasing a smartwatch is Vivo. Popular Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station had revealed several details pertaining to a new smartwatch from Vivo recently. Today, he has posted an image of the upcoming smartwatch from the company which is likely to be released later this month. By the looks of it, this smartwatch could be marketed as the Vivo Watch.

According to Digital Chat Station, the Vivo Watch will be offered on two sizes – 42mm and 46mm. As evident from the image above, the watch gets a round dial. The rounded display is of the AMOLED type and the body is reportedly made of high-quality steel. The Vivo Watch will also feature a high-quality Napa leather strap.
The Vivo Watch is expected to come loaded with features and will be water-resistant up to 5ATM pressure, supports heart rate monitoring as well as a blood oxygen level (Sp02) tracker. Earlier, he had also indicated a claimed standby time of up to 18 days. The Vivo Watch is also likely to be offered in four color options that include Mocha, Mixia, Shadow, and Fengshang.
While it is too early to cement about the pricing, chances are that the Vivo Watch will be priced at around the CNY 1000 mark when launched. This translates to around Rs 10,000 – making it cheaper than the OPPO Watch which is already on sale in India. That being said, it remains unclear if Vivo has plans to bring this product to the Indian market. As for the Chinese market, chances remain high we could see this product launch there later this month.
