Micromax made a comeback in the Indian smartphone market with the launch of two new smartphones under its “IN” series. The IN Note 1 and IN 1b are the company’s latest budget offerings launched under 11,000 and Rs 7,000 respectively. The Micromax smartphones go on sale starting November 24. However, the company has now announced that it will start taking preorders for the Micromax IN Note 1 and IN 1b during the Big Diwali sale on Flipkart. Micromax will start taking pre-orders for the IN Note 1, IN 1b starting November 10 at 12 pm via Flipkart.

The Micromax In 1b comes in two storage options. The 4GB RAM option with 64GB storage is priced at Rs 7,999, whereas the 2GB RAM variant with 32GB storage will be available for Rs 6,999. The smartphone can be bought in three colours – Green, Purple, and Blue. 

The Micromax IN Note 1 India price is Rs 10,999 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage. The 4GB RAM + 128GB of storage option is priced at Rs 12,499. The smartphone will be available for purchase from Flipkart and the company’s website starting from November 24. The phone is available in two colour options: Green and White.

Micromax In 1b specifications 

Micromax In 1b sports a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen comes with a tiny waterdrop notch for the front-facing camera. 

Under the hood, the smartphone under Rs 10,000 gets powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 processor. The performance unit is completed with 2GB and 4GB RAM, coupled with 32GB and 64GB internal memory. Micromax In 1b packs a beefy 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging support and reverse wired charging.

For optics, the smartphone sports a dual-camera setup at the back in a vertically-aligned camera module. There is a 13MP primary sensor with an aperture of f1/.8 and a 2MP depth camera sensor. Micromax In 1b comes with an 8MP front camera sensor. 

The budget smartphone comes with stock Android 10 out of the box and is promised to get two years of software updates. 

Micromax IN Note 1 specifications

Micromax IN Note 1 sports a 6.67-inch Full HD+ IPS display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The screen comes with 450nits peak brightness and a 21:9 aspect ratio. 

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports an 18W fast charging solution.

In terms of optics, IN Note 1 sports a quad-camera setup at the back panel with a 48MP main sensor. The primary lens is accompanied by a 5MP wide-angle lens, 2MP macro sensor, and 2MP depth shooter. On the front, the device comes with a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calling.

The phone runs on Android 10 operating system. The company claims that the handset comes with a clean user interface with no bloatware and users will get at least two years of OS upgrade.
