Motorola recently launched a new 5G smartphone in its Moto G-series called the Moto G 5G. The new 5G smartphone from Motorola offers some interesting features. The phone comes equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 750 5G chipset, which makes it a 5G smartphone. The phone also features a triple-camera setup along with 5,000mAh battery, Full HD+ display, and more. With this, the company is preparing to strengthen its position in the 5G segment and the phone is a smaller sibling to the Moto G Plus 5G, which was launched earlier this year. Moto G 5G price, availability

The Moto G 5G price is EUR 299.99, which roughly translates to Rs 26,260. The smartphone is available in Frosted Silver and Volcanic Gray colour options. The company has confirmed that the latest Motorola smartphone will be launched in India in the coming weeks. However, there is no official launch date for the same. Moreover, the phone will be available in Latin America, the Middle East and Asia in the coming weeks.

Moto G 5G specifications, features

Coming to the features, the phone comes with a plastic body and looks eerily similar to the Moto G9 Power. There is a square camera module at the top-left corner that houses three cameras and an LED flash. The fingerprint sensor is present at the back with Moto’s famous batwing log engraved on it. The front panel comes with a punch-hole design at the top-centre position. The right side features volume controls and power on/off button, while the left features a dedicated Google Assistant key.

Coming to the specifications, the Moto G 5G features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor along with Adreno 610 GPU. It packs 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with an option to expand the storage up to 1TB via microSD card slot.

In terms of optics, the Moto G 5G equips triple-camera setup with 48MP primary lens with quad pixel technology, PDAF support and f/1.7 aperture. It also features an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 118-degree FoV and f/2.2 aperture. Lastly, there is a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The phone features a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. The Moto G 5G is IP52 rated making it water-resistant.

The phone runs on Android 10 with My UX on top of it. The UI comes with all the Motorola features. The handset packs 5,000mAh battery with 20W TurboPower fast charging support. In terms of connectivity, it supports 5G SA/NSA Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, NFC and USB Type-C port. The device measures 166.1 x 76.1 x 9.9 mm and weighs 212 grams.
