Vivo Origin OS Early Experience Registrations Begin for Limited Users, Rollout to Start on November 23

Vivo is launching its new Origin OS on November 18 in China. The new Android skin is said to replace Vivo’s current Funtouch OS. However, it seems like we would have to wait for a fair bit after Vivo releases its new skin for the public. A new report states that although Origin OS will be unveiled on November 18, it will be available from November 23. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer will select a limited number of users who will get to try the latest Vivo Android custom skin on the scheduled date. Let’s take a look at everything we know about the Origin OS launch, its rollout, and availability details.

Vivo Origin OS Early Experience Registrations Begin for Limited Users, Rollout to Start on November 23

Origin OS is set to debut at the Vivo Developer Conference on November 18 in China. Although the details of the new Android skin for Vivo smartphones are scarce, Piunika Web reported that Vivo has started taking registrations for the OriginOS early experience. A limited number of users are said to be selected to try and get their hands on the new Origin OS. These users will be selected based on certain criteria.

Users in China need to register till November 18 for early access. Vivo will, then, release the list of select participants on November 20.

Not much is known about Origin OS at the moment. Other than mentioning the launch date, the promotional poster fails to tell us anything else about the upcoming Android skin. However, noted tipster Digital Chat Station had previously leaked that the new Vivo skin will have a redesigned user interface (UI). The upcoming OS will also provide the user with the ability to switch between custom skin and stock Android, which could be a pretty interesting feature.

According to reports, the first device to come with Origin OS out of the box could be the Vivo X60, which is slated for a December launch, by the way. Vivo’s new operating system has also been installed and tested on four iQOO smartphones. These include iQOO, iQOO Pro, iQOO3, and iQOO Neo 3. We are not far away from the launch, which is slated to be unveiled on November 18. The company is expected to drop more teasers ahead of the Vivo Developer Conference, where it will unveil its new Android skin. What are your thoughts on the upcoming Origin OS?
