OPPO Reno 5Z with 4310mAh Battery, 30W Fast Charging Support Spotted on FCC, Launch Imminent

OPPO launched the OPPO Reno4 Z 5G smartphone back in September last year. It looks like now OPPO is preparing for the launch of Reno4 Z 5G successor, the OPPO Reno 5Z. The device, in the past few days, has already had bagged the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and Global Certification Forum (GCF) certification. The handset was even spotted in the Bluetooth SIG listing with model number CPH2211 yesterday. Now, OPPO Reno 5Z has gained the required FCC certification. The FCC listing even reveals a few specifications of this upcoming smartphone.

OPPO Reno 5Z Clears FCC Certification

If we go by the FCC listing, we can see that the OPPO Reno 5Z is listed with model number CPH2211. The smartphone will run Android 11 out of the box with ColorOS V11.1 as revealed by the FCC documents. As far as the design of the device goes, we can see that the Reno 5Z will feature a triple camera setup at the rear. Dimensions-wise the phone will measure at around 160.1×73.4×7.8mm, and weigh 175 grams.

The device will pack a 4310mAh battery that is expected to offer 30W fast-charging support. Connectivity-wise, the handset will even come with 5G support. Rest of the details, such as display size, camera configuration, and hardware the phone will use, remains unknown currently.

If we go by the Bluetooth SIG listing, it already confirmed that the smartphone will come with the latest Bluetooth 5.2 support. The launch date of this upcoming handset isn’t known as of now. However, we might to get learn more about the Reno 5Z, if OPPO confirms its details in the upcoming few weeks. To recap the specs of the Reno4 Z 5G, it was launched by OPPO back in September and features a 6.57-inch display with a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The screen has a ratio of 20:9 and Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protection.

The smartphone is powered by Dimensity 800U SoC which is aided with 8GB of RAM, and has 128GB of internal storage. It sports a quad-camera setup that consists of a 48MP main primary camera. The other three sensors at the back include a 8MP ultra-wide lens, and 2MP + 2MP depth sensors. The device features 16MP + 2MP dual cameras at the front for selfies and video calling. The Reno4 Z 5G packs a 4000mAh battery that has 18W fast-charging support.
