According to the screengrabs shared by PlayerIGN, Steve claims that the Karakin map won’t be permanently out and the developers will keep rotating maps in and out starting from this season, which means the maps will be rotated every season. Steve also confirmed that there are several changes with the patch notes, the game is going to receive an emergency parachute as a new feature. The PUBG community coordinator claims that they have forwarded feedback on matchmaking and drive-by mechanic. Further, he added that players need to understand that this is not an EU/NA only game, it’s a global game where players across the globe play this game. Even a single change will affect a big chunk of players across multiple regions. It won’t make sense to disappoint 2 million players just to satisfy the 2000 player.
Earlier it was reported that the Karakin map is going to replace the Vikendi Map. It’s based on the deserts of the North Africa coast and has an open environment full of sand and boulders. The map will be available in classic mode and stretched in two square kilometres. According to the official announcement, the game developers will start rolling out the map on April 7. Let’s see what else the new season is going to bring.
