Aarogya Setu Will Show a Blue Tick On Your Profile Once You Are Fully Vaccinated

India’s contact tracking Aarogya Setu app was launched last year when COVID-19 first wave hit the country. With passing time the developers have upgraded the app and added new features to makes it more convenient for users to track COVID-19 hospitals around them, search for hotlines, and more. Now the Aarogya Setu app developers have updated the app with a new feature that will show the user’s vaccination status. The news has been announced by the official Twitter handle of Aarogya Setu. Aarogya Setu Double Blue Tick

“Now your Vaccination Status can be updated on Aarogya Setu. Get yourself vaccinated – Get the Double Blue Ticks and Get the Blue Shield,” Aarogya Setu tweeted on Tuesday. According to the app, the users who are vaccinated will be able to see their status updated by CoWIN, they will also witness a blue banner on the app saying ‘You are Vaccinated’. Alongside, the app will also give you two blue ticks over the orange heart icon of Aarogya Setu.

The two blue tick marks are very familiar to Indian users as the feature is already available on WhatsApp that allows you to check whether the receiver has received and read the message or not. Do note that the vaccination indicator will only work with the number which is registered on the Aarogya Setu app. To get the status and double blue tick on the app you need to use the same number while registering for CoWIN. If you sign up on Aarogya Setu and CoWIN using a different number you won’t be able to check the status.

Aarogya Setu has more than 19.92 crore Indian users, numerous questions have been raised about the effectiveness of the app when it was launched in 2020. But it seems that the app has helped people in finding hospitals, booking COVID tests, and a lot more.
