Realme X3, X3 SuperZoom Getting Stable Realme UI 2.0 OTA Update With Android 11

Realme launched the Realme X3 and the X3 SuperZoom smartphones in India last year in June. These devices came up with Android 10 out of the box. The smartphone maker back in January announced Android 11 early access program for these handsets. The early access program lasted for around 3 months. Later on, when the program ended, Realme rolled out Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 beta update for the Realme X3 and the X3 Superzoom in April. Now, in a recent development, the Chinese smartphone maker has started rolling out stable Reame UI 2.0 OTA update based on Android 11 for the Realme X3 and the Realme X3 Superzoom smartphones in India.

Realme X3, X3 SuperZoom Start Receveing Android 11 Update

The company is yet to make a formal announcement regarding this new stable Android 11 release for the Realme X3, X3 SuperZoom smartphones. However, users have started posting screenshots on the Realme forum regarding this recent Android 11 release. The Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 stable update that is being rolled out to the Realme X3 is of 688MB in size, and it carries version C.06. If you are yet to receive this new update, you can head over to Settings >> About Phone >> Software Update section to check if new notification regarding this update has arrived. As usual, this might be a staged rollout, meaning that initially, a limited number of users will receive the update. We can expect the update to widen its reach when the company makes sure that there are no critical bugs in this stable release.

The update that is being rolled out to these devices brings in all the Android 11 features which the smartphone maker has baked in its custom Realme UI 2.0 version. If we have a glance at the changelog from the Realme forum, we can see that Realme has fixed some issues with the Camera app and Bluetooth settings. The new software update also has solved the probabilistic screencast opening failure issue in the control center. The update also has a fixed the screen flicker issue that occurred while entering the camera in lock screen.

Now, that the Realme X3, X3 SuperZoom have started receiving stable Android 11 updates, we can expect other Realme devices to receive the Realme UI 2.0 stable update that has been waiting for a long in the queue.
