Amazfit has refreshed its smartwatch lineup with the launch of the new GTR and GTS series. The new GTR and GTS series of smartwatches come as an upgrade over last year’s GTR 2 and GTS 2 smartwatches. Unlike last year though, Amazfit has launched a Pro variant of the GTR 2 in India. Each smartwatch focuses on different parameters while sharing some of them with the other two watches. The GTR 3 Pro has a larger display and comes with aircraft-grade aluminium alloy. The GTR 3, on the other hand, has a claimed battery life of up to 21 days on a single charge. Let’s take a look at the Amazfit GTR 3 series, GTS 3 price, specifications and other details.
Amazfit GTR 3 series, GTS 3 price
The Amazfit GTR 3 Pro comes with a starting price of $230, which is roughly Rs 17,350. It comes in Brown Leather and Infinite Black colours.
The standard GTR 3 and GTS 3 have the same price tag of $180 (roughly Rs 13,600). The GTR 3 comes in Thunder Black and Moonlight Grey colours, whereas the GTS 3 will be launched in Graphite Black, Terra Rosa and Ivory White.
Specs and features
Starting with the GTR 3 Pro, the smartwatch has a 1.45-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits. It has a circular dial with a screen-to-body ratio of 70.6%. The company also stated that it has bumped up the refresh rate on the Pro model by 67 percent. It comes with an Always-On Display (AoD) and support for over 150 watch faces.
As expected, it comes with several health and fitness-related features. The GTR 3 Pro comes with 24×7 heart rate monitoring, SpO2 tracking, stress level monitoring, VO2 Max, etc. The smartwatch also supports over 150 sports modes. Amazfit has introduced its PAI score feature on the Pro model. It also supports satellite positioning based on 5 major constellations. This increases the position lock time by 20 percent while increasing the accuracy by 40%.
Lastly, the watch comes with a claimed battery life of up to 12 days on a single charge. It also comes with support for Alexa and health data syncing with Apple Health and Google Fit.
The GTR 3 shares many features from the Pro model but comes with a smaller screen size of 1.39-inch. It also has 1000 nits peak brightness support and a 66 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The smartwatch has support for over 100 watch faces. It offers the highest claimed battery life among the three with 21-day battery life on a single charge.
Lastly, the GTS 3. The smartwatch has the same rectangular screen design but sports a larger screen compared to its predecessor. It now has a 1.75-inch display with a 72.4 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The battery life on this smartwatch is said to be the same as the GTR 3. It offers up to 12 days of juice on a single charge.
The standard GTR 3 and GTS 3 miss out on a loudspeaker, which is exclusive to the GTR 3 Pro. This means that the non-Pro models do not support voice calls.
The new Amazfit smartwatches are expected to launch later this year in India.
