Three Realme smartphones with model numbers RMX3461, RMX3642, and RMX3643 were recently certified by the TENAA in China. While the model numbers RMX3641 and RMX3643 hint towards the Realme Q3s, which launched recently in China, it looks like the model number RMX3642 points towards the upcoming Realme Q3t, which may be launched soon in China. The launch seems imminent because this particular model has appeared on the database of China Telecom, where the name of the phone is mentioned as Realme Q3t with RMX3642 model number. On the webpage, we can see some of the information related to the phone, like display size, some details regarding the rear camera and front-facing camera, storage alongside the retail price for the device. The page also mentions colour variants, which we couldn’t translate from Chinese, but there seems to be a mention of a blue colour variant.
However, the Realme Q3t seems to be having the exact same specifications as Realme Q3s, so there is a possibility that it could be a variant that will be exclusive to China Telecom subscribers. The Realme Q3t features a 6.6-inch full HD+ IPS LCD with a punch-hole at the display’s top left corner. We could confirm that from the data and images available on the China Telecom database. However, we’re not sure whether the display has a high refresh rate of 144Hz, like the Realme Q3s or not. The phone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256 onboard storage. On top of that, there is a MicroSD slot for memory expansion up to 1TB. In terms of the camera, the phone carries a triple camera setup on the back. There is a 48-megapixel primary camera paired with two 2-megapixel lenses that could be ultra-wide and macro lenses. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
Though the Snapdragon 778 supports both mmWave and Sub-6 5G bands, the Realme Q3t seems to come with only a few Sub-6 bands, as per the database of China Telecom. Apart from that, the phone comes with 4G connectivity, a USB-C port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery, but there is no mention of charging speeds or fast charging. Like its brother, the Realme Q3s could also feature 5GB Virtual RAM, which can be very useful to gamers.

As of now, it is still unclear whether it’s a China Telecom exclusive phone or not. The retail price is mentioned as 1,999 Yuan or roughly Rs 23,000. But, we can’t be sure about pricing until the phone is officially launched in China. The Real Q3s and Q3s aren’t definitely coming to India soon, but if there is some change in plan, we will update that for sure.
