iQOO is all set to launch its next Z-series smartphone, the iQOO Z5x on October 20 in China. The company has confirmed the launch date of the iQOO Z5x via its official Weibo account today. The device has been subject to numerous leaks from the last few weeks. The iQOO Z5x was spotted at the Google Play Console and 3C certification a few days back. The smartphone had also appeared on Geekbench. The benchmark listing had revealed the possible hardware specifications of the handset. As mentioned above, the iQOO Z5x smartphone was spotted at the TENAA certification. According to the TENAA certification, the iQOO Z5x is supposed to feature a 6.58-inch TFT display. The device under the hood is tipped to come with Dimensity 900 5G SoC. The smartphone might pack up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There could be a higher-end model of the device which might come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. As for the software purpose, the device is tipped to boot Android 11 out of the box with Origin OS on top.
In the optics department, the iQOO Z5x is rumoured to feature a dual-camera setup. The rear-facing dual-camera module might incorporate a 50MP primary main sensor and a 2MP depth camera. For selfies and video-calling purpose, the device is tipped to sport an 8MP selfie camera. Dimensions-wise the smartphone is supposed to measure 163.95×75.30×8.5 mm and could weigh 169 grams, as per the TENAA listing. The smartphone is said to ship with a 4,880mAh battery.
