Samsung is working on its new premium tablets. The Galaxy Tab S8 series is expected to launch in January or February 2022. Design renders of the vanilla Tab S8 have leaked already. The images suggest that the design will remain the same whereas the Tab S8 will come with improved internals over its predecessor. A day after the Galaxy Tab S8 design renders leaked, more details of the Tab S8 Ultra have leaked online. The leak comes from tipster OnLeaks and 91Mobiles, who have uploaded the specs and design renders of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will launch sometime next year, if not by December 2021. The design renders, however, have leaked a few months ahead of the tab’s global launch. Samsung’s upcoming premium tablet will sport a large 14.6-inch display. In comparison, the Tab S8 and S8+ will have an 11-inch and a 12.4-inch display, respectively. The Ultra model has very slim bezels around the display. Samsung will go the Apple-way and introduce a notch on the Tab S8 Ultra. The notch will be on the right edge of the tablet for the front camera when held vertically.
There is no word on the front camera sensor details at the moment. On the back, the tablet has a pill-shaped camera module. It houses a dual-camera setup with an LED flash. It also has a magnetic strip below the camera module for the S Pen. The tablet has a quad-speaker setup. It also comes with a USB Type-C port. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack on the S8 Ultra. It t measures roughly 325.8 x 207.9 x 5.4mm. This makes it taller and slimmer than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+.
Samsung is yet to fix the launch date of the tablets. If things go well, Samsung might announce the Tab S8 series launch date for November or December 2021. However, the launch date could be pushed to January or February 2022, owing to the global chip shortage.
