Motorola is gearing up to launch a new smartwatch called the Moto Watch 100. The design renders and key details of the watch were revealed a few weeks back and a new report from 91mobiles has now revealed further specifications and new renders of the wearable. The Moto Watch 100 is expected to be a budget smartwatch with a premium look and feel. Let’s take a look at the specs and details of the upcoming Moto smartwatch.
Moto Watch 100 Specifications
As per the report, the Moto Watch 100 will have a circular design with two buttons on the side for navigating across the UI. It is said to have a metallic finish and a matte finish watch body. The watch won’t come with a rotating bezel feature. The watch measures 42 x 46 x 11.9mm and weighs 29 grams. In terms of display, the Moto Watch 100 is said to come with a 1.3-inch circular LCD display with 360×360 pixels resolution. And, the width of the strap will be 20mm.
On the inside, the smartwatch will have a 355mAh battery and will offer wireless connectivity via Bluetooth 5.0. As for the health-related features, the watch will offer a heart rate sensor, SpO2 sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, and ambient light sensor. It will have a built-in GPS for tracking as well. It will also include step counter, fitness tracking, and sleep tracking. In terms of software, it is still unclear if the wearable will run on Google’s Wear OS platform.
The Moto Watch 100 is said to enter mass production this month and we can expect the launch in the coming months. As said earlier, this will most likely be an affordable smartwatch with some premium features on the inside. As per previous reports, the company is also working on Moto Watch 200 and Moto Watch 100S smartwatches which are expected to be announced in Q1 2022.
