Vivo Pad Expected to Launch in First Half of 2022, Tipped to Feature Snapdragon 870 SoC

Vivo is prepping up for the launch of the new tablet. The company is expected to launch its first tablet in the first half of 2022. The brand had registered the trademark “Vivo Pad” with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) back in June. The schematics of the Vivo’s upcoming tablet had also leaked earlier as well. Now, in a recent development, a few more detail of the Vivo Pad is leaked courtesy of the tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo. As per the leaked details by the tipster, the Vivo Pad will come equipped with Snapdragon 870 processor.

Vivo Pad Might Be Powered By Snapdragon 870 SoC

If we recall the past leaks, the Vivo Pad had also gained the required TUV Rheinland certification. The TUV Rheinland certification documents had revealed that the Vivo Pad will pack an 8,040mAh battery. The other specifications of the Vivo Pad such as display size information, camera configuration, storage options, and design details still remain unknown currently. We can expect more details about the Vivo Pad to emerge in the upcoming few months as the tablet gets approval from different certifications.

In a piece of related news, we also are aware that OnePlus and OPPO are prepping up for the launch of their first tablet. OnePlus already had trademarked “OnePlus Pad” with EUIPO back in July. Similar to the Vivo Pad, the other details of the OnePlus Pad remain a mystery at the moment. Speaking about the OPPO first tablet, the device is supposed to come powered by Snapdragon 870 SoC. The OPPO tablet might pack up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It is said that this upcoming tablet will run Android 11 out of the box.

The tablet is tipped to feature an 11-inch LCD display with 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of imaging, the OPPO tablet might include a 13MP primary camera and an 8MP front shooter. We can expect OPPO and OnePlus to launch their tablets sometime next year.
