Samsung Announces Galaxy A03 Budget Smartphone With Improved Cameras

Samsung has officially launched a new entry-level smartphone in the A-series dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy A03. The company hasn’t revealed the availability and pricing details of the device yet. However, the brand has detailed all the specifications of the Galaxy A03 through an infographic. Speaking about the specifications of this new device it offers similar features as that of the Galaxy A02, except for the improved cameras. The Galaxy A03 flaunts a 6.5-inch HD+ display. Under the hood, the device is powered by an unspecified octa-core 1.6GHz processor. The smartphone features a dual-camera setup comprising of a 48MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth camera.

Talking about the Galaxy A03 specifications in detail, the device sports a 6.5-inch display that has an HD+ resolution. The display panel has a water-drop-shaped notch which comprises of a selfie camera. Powering the device under the hood there is an unnamed octa-core 1.6GHz processor. The smartphone comes in three RAM and storage configuration which includes a 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model, 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model.

Moving onto the optics department the A03 has a dual-camera setup at the back. The rear-facing dual-camera module includes a 48MP primary main camera that has an f/1.8 aperture. The 48MP sensor is joined by a 2MP depth camera which has an f/2.4 aperture. On the front side, the handset sports a 5MP selfie camera which has an f/2.2 aperture.

Dimensions-wise the Galaxy A03  measures 164.2 x 75.9 x 9.1mm. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery. As of now, it isn’t known yet if the device has any kind of fast charging support. The smartphone has Dolby Atmos audio support. The device when goes on sale will be available in Black, Blue, and Red Colour options. As mentioned above Samsung has not announced the pricing and availability details of the handset yet. We can expect the Galaxy A03 to go on sale by the end of this year in select markets.
