With 2021 almost coming to an end, Google has announced the best apps and games of the year so far. This year, Google has also expanded awards to apps and games on tablets, Wear OS and Google TV. The users’ choice award for the best app was won by Paramount+, which is a streaming service and the users’ choice award for the best game went to Garena Free Fire MAX. In terms of the best app of the year (selected by Google Play Editors), Balance: Meditation & Sleep was their choice and Pokémon UNITE was selected as the best game of the year.
