Realme is gearing up for the launch of yet another device in the GT series dubbed as the Realme GT 2 Pro. The upcoming Realme GT 2 Pro was spotted previously at the IMEI database and Realme’s website. As per the recent rumours the smartphone is expected to go official next year. Ahead of the launch specifications of the smartphone now have started appearing on the web. In a recent development now, the Realme GT 2 Pro camera details are revealed courtesy of Camera FV-5. The Camera FV-5 website discloses the front and rear camera details of the handset ahead of the launch.
Realme GT 2 Pro Camera Specifications Leaked
As per the Camera FV-5 website, the Realme GT 2 Pro will feature an 8.1MP sensor that will have an f/2.4 aperture. The front-facing camera will max out the image at 3280×2464 resolution. It uses the “1/2.7” sensor with 1.6 µm size pixels. On the backside, the handset will be able to capture image with a 12.6MP sensor. The 12.6MP sensor will have an f/1.8 aperture, OIS, and EIS support. The main 12.6MP camera uses a “2/3” sensor with 2.0µm size pixels and a maximum resolution of 4096×3072 pixels. Considering the camera configurations, the device will capture the image with a 50MP with the help of four-in-one pixel binning. And these are the specifications revealed by the Camera FV-5 website. As far as the rest of the details of the smartphone go, on the rear side the 50MP camera sensor might be accompanied by the 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5MP tertiary sensor.
Speaking about the other information, the Realme GT 2 Pro is supposed to sport a 6.51-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. The device might feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood the handset is supposed to pack Snapdragon 888 SoC. The smartphone is tipped to pack 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The handset is rumoured to boot Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 out of the box. Keeping the lights on there could be a 5,000mAh battery which might offer 65W fast charging.
As far as the pricing of the smartphone go, it might retail for CNY 4,000 (roughly Rs. 46,200) in China. It is also said that Realme will launch the special variant of the Realme GT 2 Pro. The special variant is tipped to launch for CNY 5,000 (roughly Rs. 57,700).
