Vivo has officially launched its latest Y-series smartphone, the Vivo Y76s in China today. The specifications and renders of this newly launched device were revealed by China Telecom yesterday. Speaking about the features of the Vivo Y76s, it comes with a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display. The device has a water-drop-shaped notch at the top of the display that houses the selfie camera. The Vivo Y76s is the first Vivo device that comes equipped with an octa-core Dimensity 810 SoC. The Vivo Y76s comes in Galaxy Blue, Star Diamond White, and Starry Night Black colour options. The Vivo Y76s 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at CNY 1,799(roughly Rs 20,900), whereas the model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage retails for CNY 1,999 Yuan (roughly Rs 23,200). There are no details shared by Vivo regarding the availability of the handset.

The Vivo Y76s has a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display. The larger 20:9 aspect ratio display has a Full HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. As mentioned above the display also has a water-drop-shaped notch, which consists of a selfie camera. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Dimensity 810 processor. The smartphone has up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The Y76s runs Android 11 out of the box with OriginOS 1.0 on top. The device also has microSD card support for further storage expansion.

Coming to the optics department, there’s a dual-camera setup at the back, which consists of a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP macro camera. The rear-facing camera unit is accompanied by a LED flash.
