Samsung Galaxy M33 5G

The first launch of the month will be the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G, which will happen on April 2. The company’s new Galaxy M series phone is powered by an octa-core chipset built on a 5nm process with up to 2.4GHz clock speed, this is the Exynos 1280 SoC. The phone comes with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It packs in a large 6,000mAh battery unit with support for 25W Type-C fast charging. However, the device will not come with a charger in the box. 

On the front, the Galaxy M33 5G sports a 6.6-inch LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. There is a 50MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro. It comes with an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Lastly, the phone will run on Android 12 out of the box.

The Galaxy M33 5G 6GB RAM variant is said to cost Rs 21,999, while the 8GB version is expected to cost Rs 23,999.

Realme GT 2 ProRealme GT 2 GT2 Pro

The Realme GT 2 Pro is the company’s top of the line flagship smartphone. It has been launched globally and the phone comes with a 120Hz 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED LTPO display and is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It comes with up to 12GB of RAM. The phone draws power from the 5000mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.

There is a triple-camera setup on the back led by a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 50MP 150-degree ultrawide camera and a 2MP microscope camera sensor. You get a 32MP front camera on the front and the phone runs Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 out of the box. In terms of design, the phone comes with paper-like material, which is also the world’s first sustainable design made up of eco-friendly biopolymer material.

The Realme GT 2 Pro will launch in India on April 7.

The GT 2 Pro is priced at EUR 749 globally, which is around Rs 62,800. In India, we can expect the phone to be priced under Rs 60,000.

Moto G22Moto G22

Launched globally a month back, the Moto G22 is tipped to launch in India soon. It comes with a boxy design and sports a 6.5-inch HD+ screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G37 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. In the camera department, the handset comes with a quad-camera setup led by a 50MP main sensor. It pulls power from a 5000mAh battery and it comes with only 10W charging support out of the box.

In India, the Moto G22 could be priced at around Rs 15,000

Xiaomi 12 Pro Xiaomi 12 Pro

Xiaomi’s flagship will also land in India this month to take on the OnePlus 10 Pro, iQoo 9 Pro, and Realme GT 2 Pro. The device has been launched in China and some global markets already. Some key features include a 120Hz 6.73-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. This phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and boots MIUI 13, based on Android 12.

In terms of optics, the Xiaomi 12 Pro offers a triple-rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX707 primary sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP portrait lens. For selfies and video calls, it offers a 32MP front shooter. It is equipped with a 4600mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging.

As per the teaser, the device is expected to launch on April 12.

The phone is priced at £1,049 in the UK, which is Rs 1,04,300. However, we can expect the phone to be priced aggressively in India.

Oppo F21 ProOppo F21 Pro 4G 5G

Oppo is all set to launch the F21 Pro 5G and F21 Pro 4G variants. As per the leaks, the 5G version will come with Snapdragon 695 SoC, 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, 64MP main camera, and 16MP selfie camera. In terms of battery, the phone will come with a 4500mAh with support for 33W fast charging. On the other hand, the 4G version of the Oppo F21 Pro will come with a 90Hz 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen, it will be powered by Snapdragon 680 processor. The phone will come with a 64MP main camera and a 32MP selfie snapper. It’ll pack in a 4500mAh battery and support 33W fast charging.

The Oppo F21 Pro series will launch in India on April 12.

The phone could be priced under Rs 25,000 in India.

Motorola Edge 30

While there is no confirmation on the launch yet, the Edge 30 has been spotted on multiple certifications hinting at an imminent launch. The phone will come with Snapdragon 778G Plus 5G chipset, 8GB of RAM, Android 12 OS, and it will be the successor to the Edge 20 from last year, which means we can expect the device to feature a large battery, AMOLED display and fast charging support.

In India, the Motorola Edge 20 was launched at Rs 29,999 and we can expect the Edge 30 to be priced around the same as well.

Already launched in its home country, the Realme GT Neo 3 is expected to make its way to India this month. It is powered by Dimensity 8100 SoC and flaunts a 50MP Sony IMX766 (OIS), an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP tele-macro camera. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera. The device comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset draws power from a 4500mAh battery that supports 150W fast charging. There is also a 5000 mAh battery variant with 80W fast charging support.

The phone is expected to launch in mid-April or towards the end of April.

Going by the Chinese pricing, the Realme GT Neo 3 could be priced at around Rs 30,000 in India.

OnePlus might add yet another Nord series device this time with a  new “Lite” model, the Nord CE 2 Lite. The device could launch as a rebranded Realme V25 in India. The phone is likely to feature a 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD panel and a 120Hz screen refresh rate. It will feature Snapdragon 695 5G processor and come with a 64MP main camera and a 16MP camera on the front. The device will draw power from a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

The phone might launch in April.

In terms of pricing, the phone is expected to cost less than the Nord CE 2, which might be around the Rs 20,000 mark.

Redmi 10 Prime+ 5GRedmi Note 11E 5G

The Redmi 10 Prime+ 5G could launch a rebranded Redmi Note 11E 5G from China, which was launched a few weeks back. The phone has been spotted on the BIS website and is expected to launch in India. Some of the key features of the device will include a 90Hz 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD screen, Dimensity 700 processor, 50MP primary shooter, and a 5000mAh battery unit with 8W fast charging.

Going by the price in Chine, in India, the Redmi 10 Prime+ 5G could be priced at around Rs 15,000.

After launching the 5G variant in the series, the company is now all set to launch the vanilla Realme 9 4G. The device could is teased to feature a 108MP camera sensor and the phone is expected to come with up to 8GB of RAM. Realme will launch the device in three colour options – Sunburst Gold, Meteor Black, and Stargaze White. Other details leaked so far include a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support and a 16MP front camera sensor.

Since it is a 4G phone, possibly it could be priced under Rs 15,000 in India.

Poco F4 5G

This could be Poco’s next affordable flagship with last-gen Snapdragon 870 SoC. Further, the device will with Adreno 650 GPU, and 8GB of RAM under the hood. The Poco F4 smartphone runs Android 12 out of the box and will have a layer of MIUI 13 on top of Android. It could also be a rebranded Redmi K40S, which means we can expect features like a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, the front camera will have a 20MP sensor. It is said to come with a 4500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.

After launching the Poco M4 Pro series, the brand is expected to launch the vanilla Poco M4 5G. As per the leaks, the M4 5G will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and feature a 6.58-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ 90Hz display. It will come with a 50MP main camera sensor on the back and a 5MP front camera. It will come with a 5000 mAh battery with 18W charging support.

Already available in China, the Vivo Y54s will launch in India early in April. The Vivo Y54s come with a 6.51-inch Full HD+ LCD display. It is backed by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. To the back, the device features a 13MP primary camera accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor and an LED flash. The phone offers an 8MP selfie camera. Further, the phone is packed with a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
