Thor: Love and Thunder (Disney+ Hotstar – September 8)
Thor: Love and Thunder is the fourth outing of Chris Hemsworth as the iconic Norse God from the Marvel Universe. It also brings back Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Jaimie Alexander as Lady Sif, and Natalie Portman as Jane Foster. Christian Bale plays the part of Gorr the God-Butcher and Russel Crowe dons the mantle of the Greek God Zeus. The film follows the storyline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is the fourth Thor film following Thor Ragnarok. The movie had a budget of $250 million and was a critical success at the box office where it grossed $737.1 million.
Paappan (ZEE5 – September 7)
This Malayalam crime thriller by actor director Joshiy features Suresh Gopi, Neeta Pillai, Gokul Suresh, Asha Sharath, Nyla Usha and Kaniha in the leading roles. This tells the story of Abraham Mathew Mathan who is a retired officer and has been reinstated unwillingly to solve a murder.
Indian Predator: The Diary Of A Serial Killer (Netflix – September 7)
Netflix is taken with original crime thriller documentary series for India these days and the newest one coming is Indian Predator: The Diary Of A Serial Killer. This revolves around events of cannibalism by a psychotic serial killer evades the eyes of the police until he kills a journalist.
Sita Ramam (Amazon Prime – September 9)
This Telugu period romantic drama starring Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur along with Rashmika Mandana has been directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and has seen a successful run at the box office. It is the story of a romance between Lieutenant Ram and Sita which begins with a letter from the latter to the former.
Ek Villain Returns (Netflix – September 9)
The sequel to Ek Villain, Ek Villain Returns is a Hindi action thriller written and directed by Mohit Suri. It stars John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria. The plot of the film begins from the last film and flits between the present and the past.
