Vivo recently launched the Y02 in Indonesia. The smartphone is a budget offering and comes as a successor to the Y01. Vivo is expected to launch the phone in India very soon. The company has not announced the launch date of the phone yet. However, the Y02 is expected to launch in India later this week. The piece of information comes from tipster Paras Guglani, who also revealed the marketing material of the upcoming Vivo smartphone in India.

The Vivo Y02 will be among the most affordable smartphones by the company. The device is said to be priced under Rs 9,000 in India. Guglani, in an exclusive collaboration with MySmartPrice, had previously revealed that the phone could be launched in India for Rs 8,449. The tipster later revealed that there will be a Rs 1,000 cashback offer at launch.
The latest marketing material ahead of the India launch reveals that the phone will sport a 6.51-inch Halo FullView Display with an HD+ resolution. The device will come with a 2.5D unibody design and sport a flat frame. The images show the purple Orchid Blue colour of the phone but we can also expect it to be available in Cosmic Grey.
In addition to the above images, the marketing material also reveals that the Y02 will pack a 5000mAh battery. The device is 8.49mm thick. It will also come with a circular camera module on the back. It has an 8MP single camera setup on the back with an LED flash. Some of the teased camera features include Face Beauty and Time-lapse.
Other details of the phone are already available on the web. The Y02 comes with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It will have a 20:9 aspect ratio. The device will draw power from a MediaTek Helio P22 processor. In India, the phone is expected to launch with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There is support for storage expansion via a microSD card slot up to 1TB. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack as well.
