Here we present three such flash sales that will go live today on eCommerce platforms Flipkart and Amazon, Honor’s own virtual store HiHonor, and Xiaomi’s online store.
Honor 9N: Flash Sale On Flipkart
The Honor 9N will sell on Flipkart today. The smartphone retails for Rs. 15,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variant. The 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant costs Rs. 19,999. The lowest variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory costs Rs. 13,999. Also, all three variants of the device have the ability to boost storage up to 256GB.
Honor 9N: Hands-On, First Impressions
During the sale, Flipkart is offering flat Rs. 2,000 instant. Also, the limited sale period is valid till stocks last. The 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage variant of the Honor 9N will be available at Rs. 11,999, the 4GB/64GB variant will cost Rs. 13,999, and the 4GB/128GB variant will cost Rs. 17,999 during the sale. In addition to the discount, Flipkart is offering no-cost EMI options starting from Rs. 2,000 per month. Also, Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card users get additional 5 percent off. Partner offers include Rs. 2,200 cash-back from Jio, 100GB additional 4G data on eligible recharges in vouchers of 10GB each, and Rs 1,200 off on Myntra shopping from the MyJio app.

The Honor Play is a capable Android smartphone that benefits from the Kirin 970 processor and Huawei’s own GPU Turbo feature. This makes the smartphone a great gaming device on a budget.

Apart from Flipkart, the Honor 9N will also be available on HiHonor. The Honor’s official virtual store for the Huawei’s sub-brand is offering the Honor Play smartphone as well. The one-day sale will start at 12PM today. The smartphone comes in two configurations: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 64GB storage. The smartphone will be available in two color options: Aurora Blue and Midnight Black. There’s a third color variant as well, but it is not offered during today’s sale.
Only the base variant of the smartphone with 4GB/64GB memory configuration will be available. It carries a sticker price of Rs. 19,999. Interestingly, Honor recently boosted the internal storage of the Honor Play. The 6GB RAM variant now sports 128GB of internal storage. But this variant is not available in India.
Redmi Y2 (3GB+32GB): Flash Sale on Amazon and Xiaomi Mi Store
The Redmi Y2 is one of the most popular budget-friendly Android smartphones. It offers great specifications for a very attractive asking price. Interestingly, Xiaomi has opted to offer the smartphone on Tuesdays and the company continues to follow the pattern.
Xiaomi’s Redmi Y2 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage variant, will be available for purchase on both Amazon.in and Mi.com today starting at 12 PM. The base variant of the Xiaomi Redmi Y2 starts at Rs.9,999 in India. The 4GB/64GB storage variant which is already available for open sale of the selfie-focused smartphone sports a Rs.12,999 price tag. The smartphone is available in three colors – Dark Grey, Gold, and Rose Gold.

The Honor 9N has a 5.84-inch LCD FHD+ screen with a resolution of 2280 x 1080. It features a sleek body, and has a 2.5D curved glass design. A HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset, clocked at 2.36 GHz, and paired with a Mali-T830 MP2 GPU, powers the device. The mobile comes in three storage variants – 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage.
The smartphone packs a 13MP + 2MP dual-camera setup that offers the bokeh effect. Also, the mobile phone has a 16MP camera on the front for selfies and video-calling. The camera offers portrait mode and 3D beauty effects.

Also, owing to a very narrow but visible notch, the smartphone boasts of an impressive 83% screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone comes in two configurations: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 64GB storage. There’s a hybrid SIM card tray for memory expansion.
A powerful Kirin 970 octa-core processor clocked at 2.4 GHz powers the smartphone. The CPU works with a Mali-G72 MP12 GPU. Also, there’s a dedicated NPU for AI features. Essentially, the Honor Play appears to be a great budget Android gaming smartphone.
