One of the most appealing aspects of Android is the ability to change the appearance of almost every element of a device. One such element of the appearance that can be changed is the icon theming through the application of icon packs with a supported launcher. The Google Play Store is scattered with icon packs that can appeal to whatever your preference is around styling so can often be hard to find what you’re looking for. Here we take a look at five of the best icon packs you can get for your OnePlus 6.
For some context, these are icon packs that I have found with my experience of Android on my travels and is completely subjective to my preferences. In a nutshell, your mileage may vary. All icon packs were applied using Nova Launcher.
H20 Free Icon Pack

This colorful pack is one of my favorites and is among my go-to icon packs when setting up a new device. With more than 3800 icons included in the pack, the icon pack is inspired by HydrogenOS, which is the OnePlus-made alternative to OxygenOS that doesn’t have Google Services. The icons take design inspiration from Samsung Experience, Huawei EMUI, Motorola, and obviously OnePlus so this is likely to appeal to quite a few people.
H20 Free Icon Pack is free in the Google Play Store and you can download it here.
Halo Free Icon Pack

With 200 matching wallpapers included, this pack has a crisp design overlaid with a pastel filter and some sleek effects. There’s also a dynamic calendar icon that changes with the date, and features alternate icons with new colours and styles. Paired with the right wallpaper, the pastel colors are easy on the eye and look great on your OnePlus 6.

Pix Minimal Icon Pack

Slightly less colorful than the others, but with consistent white circles around the main icons, this will appeal to those who like the same look across their device. With a minimal look, you can pick from round, roundet, and square icons that provide a great look on the OnePlus 6 that preserve the original icon of the app embedded within a consistent design.
This one isn’t free but in my opinion is worth the small cost. You can download it from the Google Play Store here.
Polycon Icon Pack

I’ll pretence this icon pack with saying that it is officially discontinued, but it still has a regular place on my device although as new apps are released you might finds gaps in the icon pack. This icon pack is a new take on Material Design iconography and offers unique, creative and vibrant icons. There’s custom folder icons and app drawer icons that give your device a unique look.
You can download Polycon for free in the Google Play Store here.
Cryten Icon Pack

Last but not least is my absolute favorite icon pack that keeps coming back as my primary pack. The icon pack comes with clean, flat, round pastel colors that offer a consistent look across your entire device the look extremely crisp. There’s over 4350 icons included so the icon pack covers most if not all combinations of apps across your smartphone. The pack also includes icon masking that will theme any unthemed icons to make sure there’s no missing spaces.
You can download Cryten for a small fee in the Google Play Store using this link.
