Honor Play Ultra Violet Edition Now Available for Sale on Amazon India at Price Starting Rs.19,999

A special edition of the Honor Play smartphone is now available for the first time in India today. The Ultra Violet edition of the capable budget Android smartphone is selling from today on Amazon India. The Honor Play smartphone is an Amazon India exclusive smartphone, but it is usually available in limited quantities on Honor’s Indian website HiHonor as well.

Honor Play is certainly not a stranger to Flash Sales and the latest special edition will also be available on HiHonor Store for flash sales at 12PM. There have been multiple times the Android smartphone with the HiSilicon Kirin 970 processor has been available for sale, and for multiple reasons, has quickly gone out of stock.

The Honor Play received an important update for its EMUI operating system. With several interesting and practical features including WeChat fingerprint payment, gesture control, and others, the smartphone’s appeal has only been boosted. The Huawei’s sub-brand recently hinted about a new color variant of the Honor Play on Twitter. Incidentally, we at MSP Gear had predicted that Honor may not launch the Honor Play Ultra Violet Edition at a different price. The smartphone is available at the same price as Midnight Black and Navy Blue.

Honor Play: Price in India, Sale on Amazon, Offers

The Honor Play is available in two memory configurations: 4GB RAM + 64GB internal memory and 6GB RAM + 64GB internal memory. The base variant costs Rs. 19,999 in India. The variant with higher RAM is available for Rs. 23,999. There’s a 6GB/128GB variant as well, but it’s not listed. Incidentally, till now only the 6GB RAM variant is already available via open sale on Amazon India. But the story is different today on Amazon India, the 4GB/64GB base variant of Ultra Violet Edition alongside Navy Blue and Midnight Black color options are now available on open sale on Amazon India.

Honor store clearly wants to continue selling the base variant in Flash Sales. Hence, the 4GB/64GB variant of Honor Play Purple will be available at 12 PM on HiHonor Store.

Amazon India usually offers a five percent discount to buyers using their HDFC Debit or Credit Cards, Bajaj Finserv EMI Card or Axis Ban Buzz Credit Card. Also, buyers get 10GB additional 2G/3G/4G data for using a Vodafone prepaid or postpaid SIM card with every new purchase valid for 12 months, but this offer is limited to Amazon Prime members only.

While some of these discounts and the Vodafone offer are applicable to other colors, the Ultra Violet Edition doesn’t mention them. The listing page mentions a single offer. Amazon is offering an exchange bonus of up to 9,000 on select old smartphones. It is possible Amazon may update the listing to include a few attractive offers to urge buyers.

Honor Play: Specifications, Features

The Honor Play benefits immensely from the Kirin 970 chipset, ample RAM, and internal storage. Moreover, Huawei has been steadily embedding the GPU Turbo feature in its smartphones. The feature attempts to get the best of the processor and GPU, without intensively taxing the battery. The smartphone has proven to be a great budget device for gaming owing to these features and the large 6.3-inch Full HD+ display.

The Honor Play sports a metal unibody, a fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack stereo speakers, dual 16MP+2MP rear camera setup, and other features. A large 3,750mAh battery supports Fast Charging.
