The new update is designed for a full-screen experience. With this update, the device gets gesture-based navigation, just like that on the new iPhones. Xiaomi has updated system and notification sounds with a new sound pack, which the brand calls as Nature Sounds. This new sound pack replaces the older notifcation sounds with the sounds of the forest, beach, drizzle, and summer night. Not only that, but this sound pack is also dynamic. For example, if you recieve many notifications at once, those multiple notification sounds will merge into one rhythm, giving a better experience. Thanks to the new AI pre-loading, apps will now open faster, and the UI will feel a lot smoother leading to a better overall experience.

There is now Portrait mode on the front camera, which was one of the most demanded features. In addition to this, the camera has received a few more optimizations, as well as, stability and image processing improvements. Last but certainly not the least, the MIUI 10 update also includes the latest 2018 Android security patch. Having the latest security patch is always better as it helps to keep your smartphone and all its content safe.

POCO F1 Phone And Future Updates

This is just the beginning for the POCO F1. The device has not only become popular for having a flagship grade processing hardware at an affordable price, but also for its specially crafted launcher. The POCO F1 launcher is even available for download for other devices via the Google Play Store. The MIUI 10 update isn’t going to be the last update which the devices receives. Just a few days back, the company confirmed that the POCO F1 would also receive Android Q as well. However, we are still far from Android Q as even Google hasn’t officially announced it.

We hope Xiaomi continues to provide consistantly fast OS updates like it did this time. It will certainly help Xiaomi in the long run. In the meantime, you can watch our Poco F1 review in case you are planning to buy it.
