Realme has always been adamant about serving its users, both new and old alike. The company held the first sale of its latest Realme 3 Pro earlier today. Just a few days ago, it announced that the Realme 3 will be up for grabs in open sale. Both these phones come with the latest ColorOS 6 software that is based on Android 9.0 Pie. Realme had previously made known its intentions of bringing this update to all of its older phones, and now we have more solid confirmation about the update’s rollout.
Realme CEO Madhav Sheth sent out a tweet recently announcing the exact timeline for the release of Android pie-based ColorOS 6 for all the phones the brand has launched thus far. Beta update for the software will start rolling out next month, with final OTA updates to follow soon after.

With the release of the new software update on these phones, the Realme 2 Pro, Realme 1 and Realme U1, in particular, shall also receive support for the brand’s Hyper Boost technology which is currently present on the Realme 3 Pro. With this feature, the older phones will review a bump in gaming performance.
