Last week, an unannounced Realme smartphone with model number RMX1901 had appeared on the TENAA website alongside the Realme 3 Pro. Going by the images and specifications listed on the TENAA website, the RMX1901 could just be a rebranded OPPO Reno Lite from Realme. The smartphone brand has now released the first video teaser for the upcoming phone on its Weibo page.
Realme Phone With Pop-Up Selfie Camera to Launch Soon
The official teaser video confirms the first Realme phone with a pop-up selfie camera will be launched in China very soon. While the Realme 3 Pro is already on sale in India, it looks like the RMX1901 will be making its global debut in China. There is even a possibility of it being exclusive to the Chinese market. As revealed by images on the TENAA website recently, the phone will have a design nearly identical to the rumored OPPO Reno Lite. It will have dual cameras and a gradient design at the rear.
Just like the design, we can expect the Realme RMX1901 to be identical to the OPPO Reno Lite in terms of key hardware specs as well. The OPPO Reno Lite has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor under the hood, clubbed with 8GB RAM and 128GB of onboard memory. It sports a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ resolution as well as an In-display fingerprint sensor. It is possible that the RMX1901 will not only be the company’s first phone with a pop-up selfie camera but also an AMOLED display and an In-display fingerprint sensor.
Moving on to optics, the OPPO Reno Lite has a 16MP + 2MP dual-camera on the back and a 16MP resolution pop-up selfie snapper. As for software, we expect both the OPPO Reno Lite and Realme RMX1901 to launch with the Android Pie-based ColorOS 6.0 out of the box.
