Samsung has been fairly swift when it comes to rolling out updates this year. The company has already started pushing the One UI 2.0 beta update (based on top of Android 10) to the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 lineup, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 lineup, Samsung Galaxy S10 lineup, and the Samsung Galaxy S9 lineup of smartphones. Now, the company has finally declared the official Android 10 roadmaps for all of its eligible devices. Here is the list of the Samsung smartphones that are going to receive the latest Android 10 update in the coming times.
Samsung announces the Android 10 roadmap: List of eligible devices
As per the roadmaps that we have received from our source, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 devices will get the Android 10 stable update alongside their successors in the month of January.
The Israeli roadmap list, however, suggests an April rollout schedule for the Samsung Galaxy S9 devices. Furthermore, the European list suggests that there will be three 5G smartphones by the company that would be receiving the Android 10 update by January 2020.
As far as the company’s highlight, the Samsung Galaxy Fold is concerned, the device will strangely be receiving the update a bit late – in the month of April to be exact. That is when the mid-range and much cheaper devices by the company would be receiving the update. Perhaps the company wants to perfect the update for the most unusual device in their lineup before rolling it out to the masses. The Galaxy Fold has already been pretty hot when it comes to bugs, both hardware, and software, so it makes sense that Samsung won’t want to take any chances this time around.
Well, that was about flagships. Samsung, however, is not restricting the latest update to their premium devices and the Galaxy M, A, On, J, and Galaxy Tab lineups will also be receiving the same in the coming days. Here’s the list of the devices that would get the update in the months of 2020.
