LG has been into the smartphone segment since the very early days but the brand has not been able to keep up with the cut-throat competition lately at least in Asian markets like India, Indonesia, and others. Even in western markets, the company is struggling to match up to the expectations and competition. The company seems to be making some changes in the smartphone portfolio and as a result, we saw a new Velvet series. Now, we have spotted another upcoming LG device on the geekbench website. Going by the geekbench listing, the device seems to pack quite good hardware.
LG Wing 5G with sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G and 8GB RAM
The device appears with the name LGE LM-F100N on Geekbench and scores 601 in the single-core test, and 1843 in the multicore test. The geekbench listing also reveals that the smartphone will pack an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 1.80 base clock frequency, going by the scores, it seems like the LGE LM-F100N will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G. The smartphone will pack 8GB RAM as per the geekbench test, and run Android 10 out of the box.
LGE LM-F100N reportedly goes by the codename Wing and it is expected to come with a very different form factor as compared to traditional smartphone design. LG Wing is said to feature dual display, the primary display will be a 6.8-inch display, similar to that of LG Velvet while the secondary display will be square-shaped. The smartphone is said to come with 128GB storage and it seems to be the only storage variant.
This was just the first-ever appearance of the LG Wing on benchmark site and it should be appearing on certifications website in the near future. As always, we will keep you update with any new leaks or features that we learn about the upcoming LG Wing in the coming weeks.
