Redmi Note 9 series is all set to launch in China on November 26th. The company is expected to announce Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 9 5G and a 4G-only model. Interestingly, Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 9 series made its global debut back in March in India. However, the company didn’t introduce the series in its home country. We have seen plenty of rumours about the upcoming Redmi Note 9 series. Now, a report has emerged online that reveals the camera specifications of the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G smartphone. Furthermore, the company’s top brass has also shed some light on the processor used in the upcoming smartphone. Let’s take a closer look at the details of the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G.

Redmi Note 9 Pro chipset confirmed

Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing has confirmed that the upcoming Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset. Weibing announced this information on its official Weibo account. With this, it is speculated that the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G will be a rebranded version of the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite. The latter also comes loaded with the same chipset and feature a similar design language as we saw in previous teasers of the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G.

Moving on, known tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G will feature a quad-camera setup. The primary sensor will come with a 108MP shooter, which is slightly different from the 64MP present on the Mi 10T Lite. Furthermore, the phone will come with an ultra wide-angle lens, a telephoto lens, and a macro shooter.

Furthermore, the company has also teased the upcoming Redmi Note 9 5G smartphone. The promo image reveals that the smartphone will offer a slim design language and will be available in dark blue colour option. There is a circular camera bump on the top-centre position of the back panel along with a LED flash.

Coming to some rumoured Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G specifications, It will likely feature a 16MP selfie sensor. The phone might come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner similar to Mi 10T Lite. The device will feature a 4,720mAh battery unit along with 22.5W fast charging support. The smartphone is rumoured to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G SoC, similar to the Mi 10T Lite.
