Xiaomi Phone With Snapdragon 875 SoC Spotted on Geekbench, Could it be the Mi 11?

Xiaomi is working on a new smartphone with model number M2012K11C as revealed in a recent Geekbench listing. This is the first instance when this particular smartphone has made an appearance on the web. A new report by 91mobiles suggests that Xiaomi M2012K11C could be an upcoming flagship from the Chinese technology giant. Going by the Geekbench listing, it looks like that the device might pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 SoC. Though the listing has confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will pack 6GB RAM and run Android 11 out of the box.

Xiaomi M2012K11C has scored 1105 in the single-core test, and 3512 in the multicore test. The Geekbench listing also reveals that the smartphone will pack an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with a 1.80 base clock frequency. Going by the Geekbench scores, it seems like the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone will sport top-tier silicon from Qualcomm.

To recall, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus devices score about 980 points in the single-core test and about 3350 in the multi-core test. So, we can safely assume Xiaomi M2012K11C to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 SoC, which is expected to be announced next month. Another reasoning supporting the assumption is the mention of Adreno 660 GPU in the source codes. For those unaware, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ comes equipped with Adreno 650 GPU.

The smartphone will pack 6GB RAM as per the Geekbench test, and run Android 11 out of the box. In all the likelihoods, this should be an upcoming Mi 11 series device. For those unaware, Xiaomi is expected to announce Mi 11 series devices in China in Q1, 2020. Unfortunately, this is all that has been revealed in the Geekbench listing, but we can expect to learn more about Xiaomi M2012K11C in the coming weeks.
