Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Leak Suggests 120Hz Refresh Rate Enabled for QHD+ Resolution

Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra and Note 20 Ultra come equipped with a 2K panel that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. However, if you want to use a 120Hz refresh rate, you are required to scale the resolution down to Full HD+ or HD+. The 2020 Samsung flagship smartphones only support 60Hz at QHD+ resolution.

Now, Ice Universe claims that the upcoming Galaxy S21 Ultra will support the combination of QHD+ and 120Hz refresh rate.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is tipped to sport a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display. Although the latest tip states that the Galaxy flagship smartphone will support 120Hz + QHD+ resolution, a recent leak suggested the Galaxy S21 Ultra will support 144Hz refresh rate.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphone will run on Android 11-based OneUI 3.0. The smartphone will come with a 108MP primary camera at the rear. Previously, a report claimed that the device will have support for shooting 1080p videos in 240fps, 4K in 120fps, and 8k in 30fps. On the front, the phone might come with a 40MP selfie shooter.

It is also said to pack a 5,000mAh battery. The report adds that the Galaxy S21 Ultra might come with Snapdragon 875 processor, though it will be for the US and China markets. For other markets including India, the company might equip it with the upcoming Exynos 2100 processor. The phone will reportedly measure 165.1mm x 75.6mm x 8.9mm.

Previously, some renders of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra were leaked online. The renders showed that the smartphone will come with a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. On the rear, there will be a quad-camera setup which extends all the way to the side of the device. As far as the display of the device is concerned, the leak claims that the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra might feature a display measuring between 6.7-inch and 6.9-inch.
