OnePlus is expected to launch the OnePlus 9 series in Q1 2021. The rumour mill is working at full force to churn out leaks ahead of the launch. OnePlus 9 specifications and features have already been leaked in the past. Even the alleged prototype design renders of the upcoming OnePlus flagship has been leaked online. The OnePlus 9 prototype device was listed on eBay prior to its launch. Live images of the device were listed on the e-commerce website for $3,000, which roughly translates to Rs 2,20,700. OnePlus is expected to launch the OnePlus 9 series in March 2021. Ahead of the launch, the standard 9 has been listed on eBay. The listing includes images of the prototype device, which is quite similar to the previously-leaked renders. The OnePlus 9 was listed on the website for a whopping $3,000, which is more than three times the OnePlus 8T price. XDA’s Mishaal Rahman spotted the listing before it was taken down.
The images have also revealed the code of the prototype device. Such codes are displayed at the bottom of the display at all times, making it easier for companies to identify the leaker.
The listing confirms several details that were leaked previously. The device sports a triple-camera setup and LED flash in a rectangular module at the back.
Two out of three sensors are larger in size compared to the third sensor. It is rumoured that the device will feature a 50MP Ultra Vision camera sensor and a 20MP Cine Camera. Lastly, the third lens will be a 12MP telephoto camera with an f/3.4 aperture. The last sensor might also support Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) along with AF.
The Settings app also confirms that the phone will be available in 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The performance unit will include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The handset runs on Android 11 based on OxygenOS.
Reports also claim that the OnePlus 9 will come with a punch-hole cutout at the top-left corner of the display.
