iQOO has officially confirmed that it will be launching its next-generation smartphone in the month of January. The upcoming smartphone is none other than iQOO 7 5G. The company has also already some key details of the handset in the past and revealed a teaser image showing the design. The teaser images also reveal that the brand might collaborate with BMW to release a special edition during the launch. Furthermore, there are some rumours about the specifications of the iQOO 7 5G including Snapdragon 888 chipset, 120Hz refresh rate, long-lasting battery, and more. iQOO 7 Confirmed to launch in China on January 11

The company has confirmed that the iQOO 7 5G smartphone will be launched in China on January 11th. The company revealed this information on its official Weibo account. The launch event will kickstart at 7:30 PM (local time). Interestingly, the company is yet to spill some information on the specs of the device. However, it recently teased the phone and revealed that there will be a special BMW version of the iQOO 7. Furthermore, ahead of the official launch, the phone is already available for pre-orders in China.

The teaser poster reveals that the smartphone will come with a similar design language as seen in the Vivo X60 series. There is a triple-camera setup at the back along with an LED flash. The BMW edition carries a white coloured along with Red, Black and Blue stripes running across at the right side of the back panel. The company is promoting the handset with a “Fascination meets Innovation” tagline.

As per previously leaked information, the smartphone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The handset will also feature a new user interface based on OriginOS. The iQOO 7 5G might flaunt a Full HD+ display and may support 120Hz refresh rate. The handset might pack a 4,000mAh battery. Moreover, it is said that the smartphone might come with a whopping 120 fast charging support.
