Cyberpunk 2077 Railway System That Didn’t Make it to the Final Game Discovered by Players

Cyberpunk 2077 is a game that took so much time to develop that it became almost too hyped. While the botched release will be remembered in video game history as the worst one yet, the game still had, and has, a ton of promise. One of the pointers to this promise is the feature set that was left out of the final game because of the rushed launch.

Yes, despite the multiple delays, Cyberpunk 2077 still had a rushed launch. A few features initially planned to be functional in the final game, were left out. One such feature seems to be a railway system that the fans have just discovered.

Reddit user Sybekul found the railway system. More specifically, they found the infrastructure. It seems like it was built for a fully functional railways system that didn’t make it to the final list of release-day goodies.

In the clip, you can see a full railway station that seems to be left uncompleted. You can enter the station, but it has a lot of missing elements and appears like it was very likely taken out of the main development pipeline at some stage.

Of course, it could be that the incomplete railway station was an aesthetic choice to match the scrappy looks of Cyberpunk 2077.

However, it could very well be a semi-developed feature like the wall-running we were going to get. Cyberpunk 2077 developers have committed to fixing the issues with the game with multiple patches in the coming months. In addition, we have more features promised to arrive later, including multiplayer.

If Cyberpunk 2077 wants to stay relevant, it will need a ton of DLCs, events, and a solid multiplayer system. So we can expect this usable railway system to become a part of the main game if it can manage to eliminate the issues with the game in time for a feature update.
