Last week Amazfit announced the launch of its GTS 2 Mini and the smartwatch went on sale on December 26, but it was noted that the consumers are unable to get their hands on the watch anytime before the end of the year. Now the company has made an official announcement that there will be a delay in the availability of the smartwatch due to logistics issues. Here’s a closer look at the latest announcement.
Amazfit GTS 2 Mini Delay in India
The company has taken to its official Twitter handle and announced that Due to a logistics issue in GTS 2 mini shipments, there will be a delay in the delivery. The company is yet to reveal when the issue is going to be solved. The tweet also suggests that the company will ship all the orders which are made from the first sale until Friday, January 1st, 2021. Amazfit also confirmed that it will ship an additional strap with the watch as compensation for the delay.

Just to recall GTS 2 mini will come in two variants Midnight Black and Flamingo Pink, the smartwatch was up for pre-orders at Rs 6,999 in India. The fitness tracker was up for grab on Amazon India. The Amazfit GTS 2 mini-features over 70 built-in sports modes including running, cycling, swimming and the most popular indoor and outdoor sports. While you work out, the GTS 2 mini can provide notifications about exercise stages, conditions and heart rate zones.
The company claims that the GTS 2 mini is capable of delivering a battery life of 14-days for typical use, meaning you can manage your health and your lifestyle efficiently without worrying about charging for two weeks. If you’re a heavy user you may have to recharge every 7 days, but when you opt for the power-saving mode you can go up to 21 days.
