Xiaomi has officially announced the Xiaomi Civi smartphone in the Chinese market as promised earlier. The Xiaomi Civi series will replace the company’s CC lineup. Speaking about the design of the newly launched Xiaomi Civi first, it comes with a curved OLED display and features a triple-camera setup. The device has a metal frame and a gradient finish on the back. The display panel has a punch hole at the center which houses the selfie camera. The smartphone sports a 6.55-inch display that has Full HD+ (1080 × 2400 pixels) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is powered by Snapdragon 778G chipset. The smartphone features a 32MP selfie camera and comes with a 4500mAh battery that offers 55W fast charging support.

Xiaomi Civi Pricing And Availability

The Xiaomi Civi comes in three colour options:  Pink, Light Blue, and Shiny Black. The base Civi model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at CNY 2599 (roughly Rs 29,640), while the 8GB RAM variant with 256GB storage retails for CNY 2899 yuan (roughly Rs 33,055). The top-end Xiaomi Civi variant with 12GB and 256GB storage is priced at CNY 3199 yuan (roughly Rs. 36,485 .). The device will go on sale in China from September 30th.

The Xiaomi Civi sports a 6.55-inch curved OLED display that has Full HD+ 1080 × 2400 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display panel has a 20:9 aspect ratio, up to 950 nits brightness, HDR10+ support, Dolby Vision, and DCI-P3 color gamut. Powering the smartphone under the hood is an octa-core 6nm Snapdragon 778G chipset. The device packs up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.

The Xiaomi Civi runs Android 11 out of the box with MIUI 12.5 on top. The smartphone features a 64MP triple-camera setup at the back. The 64MP sensor is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro lens. On the front side, the handset sports a 32MP selfie camera that has an f/2.4 aperture. The other key features which the device offers include is an in-display fingerprint sensor and IR blaster. The smartphone has dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, 5G SA/NSA, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port. The device packs a 4500mAh battery that has 55W fast charging support.
