Lenovo Tab K10 Made in India Tablet Launched for Enterprises: Price, Features

The Lenovo Tab K10 has been launched in India, marking the entry of a new Android tablet that is incidentally targeted at businesses, instead of consumers. The company says that the Lenovo Tab K10 offers the ability for businesses to take a flexible approach at making tablets that custom fit specific requirements. To enable this use case, the tablet can be availed in a battery-less version. Lenovo says that this will “enable enterprises to power the tablet using their own solution source, and help system integrators integrate the Tab K10 for offering a more customised solution across verticals such as Retail, Manufacturing, Banking and Finance, Education, etc.”

Lenovo Tab K10: price and availability

The Lenovo Tab K10 is available starting today on all of the company’s usual online and offline channels. The tablet is being sold at a starting price of Rs 25,000.

Key features

In terms of the specification sheet, the Lenovo Tab K10 is powered by Android 11 out of the box, with a promised upgrade to Android 12 also offered with the tablet. The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22T octa-core processor, which isn’t quite among the most powerful chipsets in the market. The tablet is offered in three RAM and storage variants, which include a 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant, a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, and a 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.

At the front, the Tab K10 features a 10.3-inch display with full HD screen resolution, and coverage of 70.3 percent of the NTSC colour gamut. The display also offers 400 nits peak brightness, which is at par with basic industry standards. The tablet is based on a 7,500mAh battery in its standard variant, which can be charged via 5W charging adapters. However, this slow charging speed means that the tablet will take a whopping 5.5 hours to be fully charged.

Other features of the Tab K10 include dual speakers with Dolby Audio certified sound, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless connectivity, an 8MP rear camera with flash and a 5MP front camera for video conferencing, an SD card slot for storage expansion, a USB-C 2.0 port for connectivity and charging, and a 3.5mm audio port as well for wired headphones. The tablet measures 8.15mm in thickness, and weighs 460 grams.
