Redmi Note 11 series launch is imminent. Xiaomi is prepping up for the launch of the next Redmi budget smartphone series in China on October 28. The company has teased the launch of three Note 11 series phones so far. These include the vanilla Note 11, Note 11 Pro and a Pro Plus model. In a typical Xiaomi manner, the company is teasing some key features of the Note 11 series as it leads closer to the launch. The latest one teases the gaming capabilities of the upcoming Redmi smartphones. Xiaomi claims that the upcoming Redmi Note 11 series will run a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) at 90FPS.
The teaser post on Weibo by Redmi does not reveal the title but claims that the gaming performance is smooth at 90FPS. According to GizChina, the game that Xiaomi is teasing could well be the Honor of Kings, which has an average frame rate of 87fps.
The upcoming Note 11 series is rumoured to feature support for a 120Hz refresh rate panel. While the vanilla Note 11 will sport an LCD, the other two devices are likely to feature a Samsung AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. We can expect the Pro models to feature a 6.67-inch panel, whereas the vanilla model could sport a 6.5-inch screen. Xiaomi has not yet confirmed the display size at the moment but confirmed some other features of the devices.
Redmi Note 11 series specs and features
The top-end Note 11 Pro Plus is confirmed to feature support for 120W fast charging, which is the fastest on any Redmi Note. As per rumours, the phone will pack a 5000 mAh battery. The other two models will feature 33W and 67W fast charging, respectively.
Under the hood, the vanilla model is rumoured to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, whereas the Note 11 Pro is said to feature a Dimensity 920 SoC. The top-end Pro Plus is said to come with a Dimensity 1200 SoC under the hood.
Xiaomi has also confirmed the two colours of the Note 11 series – Green and Purple. Other details confirmed so far include Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, X-axis linear motor, etc. The camera specs and pricing details have also been tipped. You can click here to know more about the same.
