Huawei has launched Huawei Watch GT Runner smartwatch in China aimed at professional athletes. Most of the specs and features of the GT Runner wearable is similar to the Huawei Watch GT 3, but it comes with additional features such as AI, running coach, high-precision tracking, marathon track-level, and more. Let’s take a look at the features and price of the new smartwatch from Huawei. 

Specifications and Features

The Huawei Watch GT Runner sports a 1.43-inch circular AMOLED display. The watch casing is made up of reinforced polymer fibre material and the wearable is available in two colour options 一 black and grey. It also comes with a metallic crown and a button on the side. It is also 5ATM water-resistant. Further, the smartwatch supports over 100 sports mode tracking with automatic workout detection as well. It also offers sleep tracking.

There’s a 5-star dual-frequency positioning for precise trajectory monitoring with dual-band (L1 and L5) GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS satellite systems. The device also comes with a running power index feature that is calculated by combining multi-dimensional data such as historical running heart rate, pace, distance, and frequency. Based on this index, it can predict the results of the race, help runners to better formulate personal training plans, and promote the steady improvement of running performance.

On the inside, the watch is packed with an accelerometer, a gyro sensor, a geomagnetic sensor, an optical heart rate sensor, a SpO2 sensor, and a barometric pressure sensor. For connectivity, there is Bluetooth and NFC onboard. There’s also 4GB internal storage to store music along with a speaker and microphone. 

On a single charge, the Huawei Watch GT Runner is rated to last up to 14 days, but it can vary based on your usage. It can be changed with the magnetic thimble charging port. Other notable features include training recommendations, smart running plan with customization option, real-time voice guidance. 

Huawei Watch GT Runner Price and Availability

The Huawei Watch GT Runner is priced at CNY 2188 (around Rs 25,500). The watch will go on sale in China from November 26.
