Samsung is gearing up for the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G smartphone. In the last few weeks, we have seen a couple of new details about this upcoming handset. The device was spotted at Geekbench at the beginning of this month. Additionally, a few days back, the renders and specifications of the A13 5G were revealed. Now ahead of the official launch, the Galaxy A13 5G has received the required FCC certification. The FCC certification confirms the Galaxy A13 5G moniker, as well reveals the charging capability details of the handset.

According to the FCC certification details, the Galaxy A13 5G carries the model number as SM-A136U. The FCC listing discloses that the device will offer 15W charging support. The past leak suggest that the Galaxy A13 5G will sport a 6.48-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ display. The device is supposed to launch in three RAM and storage configurations — 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The handset is tipped to run Android 11 out of the box with One UI 3.1 skin on top. Under the hood, the A13 5G could be powered by Dimensity 700 chipset.
Coming to the optics details, the smartphone is supposed to feature a triple-camera setup on the back. The rear-facing camera module might consist of a 50MP primary camera sensor. The 50MP sensor is supposed to be accompanied by a 5MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP depth sensor.
The selfie department of the handset might be handled by an 8MP camera. The smartphone is rumoured to pack a 5,000mAh battery, which will support 15W charging as revealed by the FCC documents. Dimensions-wise the handset could measure 164.5mm x 76.5mm x 8.9mm. For security purpose, the smartphone might feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
It is said that the device will launch in the US and Canada for around $250 (roughly 18,800). The South-Korean smartphone maker is expected to debut the Galaxy A13 5G in four colour options – Black, Orange, Blue and White.
