Vivo has launched yet another Y-series smartphone – the Vivo Y35 5G. The latest Y-series smartphone makes its global debut in the Chinese market and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. The all-new Vivo Y35 5G is a mid-range smartphone but the inclusion of a 60Hz refresh rate display with HD+ resolution is a bummer.

The Vivo Y35 5G is backed by a 5000mAh battery and comes equipped with a 13MP primary shooter. Other highlights of the smartphone include a 5MP selfie camera, 15W fast charging, a Type-C port, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Vivo Y35 5G comes in three configurations – 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB. The pricing is as follows,

Vivo Y35 5G: Specifications and Features

The all-new Y35 5G features a 6.51-inch LCD display with an HD+ (1600 × 720 pixel) resolution, 269ppi pixel density, a 1500:1 contrast ratio, and 70% NTSC colour gamut. It is a standard 60Hz refresh rate panel that supports a 120Hz touch sampling rate and accommodates the selfie shooter inside a waterdrop notch.

Powering the latest Y-series smartphone is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor that brings with it an integrated Mali G57 GPU. This is the same processor that we have seen on various mid-range devices including the Redmi 11 Prime 5G, POCO M3 Pro 5G, Realme 8 5G, Realme Narzo 30 5G, Lava Blaze 5G, and more. It comes paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage.

The all-new Y35 5G comes equipped with a dual-rear camera setup that includes a 13MP primary shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. There is also a 2MP macro shooter and an LED flash on the rear. The smartphone makes use of a 5MP front shooter that has an f/1.8 aperture.

The latest Y-series handset is backed by a 5000mAh battery unit and 15W fast charging support. It has a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The handset offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the security front and also supports the face unlock feature. The smartphone boots OriginOS Ocean, based on Android 13.

The Vivo Y35 5G comes in Black, Gold, and Blue colour options. It weighs 186 grams and measures 164.05 × 75.60 × 8.15mm. Connectivity options of the handset include Dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, Glonass, Galileo, and Beidou.
