The company might launch another smartphone in the X5 series soon. The POCO X5 GT is already in the works. The smartphone is expected to be launched soon in select markets. At the moment, there is no word on whether the X5 GT will be available in India. Meanwhile, the smartphone has been spotted on the IMDA certification website.

POCO X5 GT IMDA Certification 

The POCO X5 GT will be a new mid-range smartphone offering by the company. The device has been listed on the IMDA website ahead of launch. The listing on IMDA reveals that the X5 GT has the model number 23049PCD8G. The description of the device’s listing confirms that the X5 GT will have support for 5G, which is sort of expected from the company. In addition to this, the device will have Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support, although the details about the same are under wraps.

The phone was spotted recently on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website. The listing on BIS revealed that the phone has the model number 23049PCD8I. While the listing on BIS did not reveal any specs, it suggested that the phone might arrive soon in India.

It was also spotted on the IMEI website, which suggested that the phone could be a rebadged Redmi Note 12 Turbo. The new Redmi Turbo phone is expected to launch soon in China. It is likely to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 processor. The phone is also said to feature support for 67W fast charging. Other leaked details include a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support, a beefy 5500mAh battery and a 16MP front camera.
