Vivo is gearing up for the launch of a new X-series smartphone. The company has already launched three smartphones in the X90 series. These include the X90, X90 Pro and X90 Pro+ 5G. The X90 Pro+ 5G is currently exclusive to China, whereas the other two X-series flagships have been launched in India. Vivo might soon launch a new premium smartphone in the lineup called the X90S. The company has not revealed any details about the same. However, the launch of the X90S seems imminent as the phone has been spotted on TENAA.
The TENAA listing of the X90S confirms some key details about the phone. For starters, it reveals the design of the flagship series smartphone. The listing also reveals the specifications of the phone. Let’s take a look at the Vivo X90S specifications, design and other details revealed via the TENAA listing.
Vivo X90S TENAA Listing Hints at an Imminent Launch
The Vivo X90S might launch soon in various markets. The premium phone has been spotted on TENAA, which confirms its key specs and design. The images suggests that the X90S will have the same design as other X90 series flagship phones. There is a huge camera module on the back that houses a triple-camera setup. The LED flash module is located at the top right corner of the rear panel. There is also the Zeiss branding below the LED flash. A horizontal stripe runs below the camera module for the “Xtreme Imagination” text, which is the tagline for the X90 series.
On the front, the phone has a curved display. It has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera. The power and volume buttons are located on the right edge.
Moving on to the specs, the X90S, with the model number V2241HA, sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2800 x 1280 pixels. The AMOLED display, as mentioned above, is curved. It is likely to offer support for a 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, there will be an octa-core SoC clocked at 3.2GHz. There are rumours of the phone featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC. MediaTek is likely to launch the SoC on May 10, which will reveal some key details about the chip. The octa-core SoC featuring in the X90S has a peak clock speed of 3.2GHz. it will listed on TENAA with 8GB, 12GB and 16GB of RAM options. The phone is also listed to offer 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB of storage options.
In addition to this, the TENAA listing of the X90S confirms the camera specs of the phone. There will be a triple-camera setup on the back. The phone has a 50MP main camera sensor. It will be accompanied by a 12MP secondary sensor, which could offer ultra-wide shooting capabilities. There will also be another 12MP sensor, which is likely to have a portrait lens on top with 2x optical zoom support. For selfies, the phone will have a 32MP front camera.
The phone has a 2345mAh dual-cell battery. This means that the X90S will have a battery with a rated capacity of 4690mAh. While the listing does not confirm this, the X90S might offer 120W charging support, which would be in line with the X90 series flagships.
